On 8 May 2025 a ceremony marking the symbolic start of the “Level of physical fitness” sports tests was held at Tashkent State University of Economics as part of the Student Festival.
The event was attended by the Adviser to the President of Uzbekistan, Odil Abdurakhmanov, and by representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Sport, and the National Olympic and Paralympic Committees.
The initiative aims to raise the physical activity of young people, promote sport and build a culture of healthy living among students.
The tests are intended to develop the physical fitness of the younger generation and to involve students in regular physical education and sport.
